![]() A new flagpole has been erected at Tiger Stadium as a tribute to all who have served or are currently serving in the armed services and in remembrance of those who have paid the supreme sacrifice for our freedom. A special inscription was placed at the base of the flagpole listing the names of Dadeville Tiger Alumni who have paid the supreme sacrifice to protect our freedom. The inspiration for this project was recent loss of Pvt. 1st Class James Jacob "Spanky" Harrelson '06 in Operation Iraq. Spanky proudly wore #70 as a Dadeville Tiger. A dedication ceremony was held during pre-game activities at the first home football game on September 7th. |

![]() After a very moving dedication ceremony where Class of 2006 President M. Williams presented a replica of the plaque to Jacob's mother and classmate B. Morgan sang the National Anthem, message balloons were released by members of the Class of 2006 and representatives for those who contributed to the project. The flag was raised by the Boy Scouts.
Fans were sad, but proud to see the completion of this project and the American Flag flying proudly at Tiger Stadium. |
Flagpole Project for Dadeville High School is currently under construction. Please come back later.
