The mission of Dadeville Elementary Media Center is to create a safe, loving and inspiring learning environment that activates and cultivates our students' love of reading by targeting their interests and needs while empowering them to not only be successful within their classrooms--but in their future endeavors.

In the media center, students will have access to a wealth of resources. They will learn to investigate using technology and charting. Students will also research topics across an array of media in order to complete their assignments within validity.

FICTION:

Students will find new stories like Pete the Cat, timeless classics like Alice in Wonderland, heartfelt books by new and upcoming authors like Mo Willems, and favorites by well-known authors like Eric Carle and Ezra Jack Keets. Also available are series, such as The Magic Tree House, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and old favorites like Henry and Mudge.

NONFICTION:

Our nonfiction section also offers a wide variety of books suited to students' interests. We have books filled with facts about animals, travel, historical events, transportation, currency, weather, and so much more! We also offer MyON services--this virtual library is filled with interesting books!
