Special Programs

  • It is the responsibility of the Tallapoosa County School System to serve all qualifying children that reside within its jurisdiction, from birth to age twenty-one.  Services are available for students regardless of their disability or its severity.  Additionally, we seek to locate, identify, and evaluate children who are suspected of having conditions or disabilities that affect growth, development, and learning.  If you have knowledge of a child with a disability or suspected disability please contact the Tallapoosa County Schools Special Programs Department at (256) 825-0746 ext. 23.
