  • We are so glad you're here! Tallapoosa County Board of Education operates under the Community Eligibility Provision, where all students have access to free breakfast and lunch daily. You may use the following link to create an account(s) for your student(s) to purchase extra portions, ice cream, and other snacks in the cafeteria.  You may give money to students to deposit, or by paying a small fee, you may directly deposit money into the account(s) of your student(s).

    I would also like to take this opportunity to invite anyone who is interested in attending our Wellness Committee. The Committee has lots of exciting plans for the upcoming year. The next committee meeting announcement will be posted a month prior to the event.

    Data Collection for School Meals Program

    Tallapoosa County Schools is required by federal regulations to collect race and ethnicity data to determine how effective school meal programs are in reaching potentially eligible students.  Providing this data is voluntary and responses are kept confidential.  Responses also have no effect on a student's eligibility for meal programs.

    A Triennial Assessment was done to ensure our Wellness Policy meets standards established by the USDA. The policy has been revised to meet those standards as required.
